  1. Welcome! We're a pretty relaxed group. It'll be fun to run some opps/missions together. See you in TS.
  2. Great post! I will have to finish the whole video soon.
  3. Awesome! We'll definitely share what we learn when the mechanics come out. The Red will on the pipeline soon and with all their progress, out in a couple months perhaps.
  4. (Copied from Spectrum) I am excited about the bits of information that has been coming in regarding the Red and SAR in general as a result of the Red's mechanics. I am summarizing info presented by CIG Matt Sherman that was relayed by LysetteD on Reddit. As usual, any of this can be subject to change. First, some general Cutlass talk: - RED is the only model that gets a toilet. For sanitation. - Side and rear doors cannot be opened from the cockpit. - Takes somewhere from 4 - 7 seconds to get in the front seat. Now, more that affects SAR mechanics: - For all Cutlass models, the cockpit section will have doors separating it from the rear cargo/utility section. This is really no change from the previous model, however it is important now that venting rooms in a vacuum is going to be more important to consider. Pilots can remain in a pressurized cabin, where the rear container will need to be depressurized from time to time. - The sliding side doors will always cause the rear chamber to depressurize when opened. - The cargo ramp has a atmosphere shield (atmo-shield). When active, opening the cargo ramp will maintain pressure inside the rear chamber. For the RED, this will be particularly important so any passengers or patients won't get spaced or suffocated during transport. - Use of the atmo-shield will use significant enough resources that being in combat and using the shield will be challenging. This will most likely affect the BLACK and BLUE models. We'll see what other power-draining systems are on the RED that may be active at the same time. Perhaps life-support modules. - The docking collar has been removed out of necessity as the mechanics for tethering one ship to another with motion was way to challenging. That's it for now. To be continued.
  5. This is a great idea. I will definitely join when I'm able to. But for the next two months I most likely will be busy at that time. I'm excited to see Omega stuff like this take off. Pun kind of intended.
  6. Welcome! Looking forward to flying with you.
  7. I think this is a cool idea! We could put a Tickle-me-Elmo in there with the Test brand on it. Call it a TESTtickle me Elmo...
  8. Thursdays have worked for me up until now. However, I coach Volleyball after school almost every week-day starting now until the beginning of May. If we move to Saturday or Sunday, I would be more likely to make it. Being PST, I don't think 6 or 7 pm PST would work for anyone else during the week. Once May hits I'll be much more active again.
  9. Congrats on the new position. I'm looking forward to more FPS!
  10. Finally got into the PTU. Now I can start practicing.
  11. You have my gun!
  12. Welcome! Glad to have you here.
  13. Glad to have you!
  14. I absolutely agree. The Herald will have a lot of Versatility and will definitely be fun to fly around. If you need a scanning operator, I'm interested in getting good at that.
  15. And I bet we'll want to practice a ton of planetside fps too. Each team with a rover and dragonflies
  16. I member that post
  17. Welcome to this awesome community.
  18. Whether or not they're able to hit their targets for these next few major updates, I'm glad they showed what they have on the table. Mining is going to be huge.
  19. I was really impressed with the v2 planet tech. Once the stream ended I rewatched the flyby and sand worm portion several times, absolutely amazing. I'm almost glad that they didn't show any s42 stuff yesterday. Even though it would only be one mission, I don't want any of it to be spoiled. What did concern me was how they built up the s42 demo without knowing whether it would be finished or not. There is a mix of positive and negative talk going on in Reddit. Hopefully the result of all this is positive. Edit: Also, I am super excited for Spectrum.
  20. Hey all, I am interested in exploration either as a crew member or as a pilot. As some of you know, my focus initially will be medical. I see myself overlapping between a couple divisions as I plan on working with O.C.F. as well. I will usually be on Thursday and Friday nights and am available most weekends.
  21. Nice uploads. I'm sharing these with a few of my friends that are starting out. Thanks!
  22. Free advertising
  23. I chose the Kore as my basic hauler instead of something like the avenger.
  24. I got the Hope Class as well. I plan on getting other addons for it down the road.
  25. I would love to dedicate my Endeavor Hope to be part of an ERT. I don't expect a 24/7 presence to be necessary, but if another squad is running a high priority/high risk opp, then having an ERT on alert would definitely be an advantage.
